How to use 12×36 Wedding Album Background in Photoshop
Using a 12×36 wedding album background in Photoshop is a relatively simple process. Here are the basic steps you can follow:
- Open the background file in Photoshop: Locate the 12×36 wedding album background file that you want to use, and open it in Photoshop. You can do this by going to File > Open and selecting the file from your computer.
- Create a new document: Go to File > New to create a new document that will serve as the canvas for your wedding album. Enter the dimensions of your album, which should be 12 inches by 36 inches. Make sure to set the resolution to at least 300 pixels per inch to ensure that your photos print clearly.
- Drag and drop the background onto your new document: With both the background file and your new document open in Photoshop, use the Move tool to drag the background file onto your new document.
- Resize the background to fit your canvas: Use the Transform tool (Ctrl/Cmd + T) to resize the background to fit your new document canvas. You can do this by dragging the corners of the background to resize it, or by entering specific dimensions in the Options bar.
- Add your photos: Once you have your background in place, you can start adding your wedding photos to the canvas. Use the File > Place command to insert your photos onto the canvas, and use the Move and Transform tools to position and resize them as desired.
- Save and export your file: When you’re finished designing your wedding album, save your Photoshop file so that you can make changes later if needed. To export your album as a JPEG or other image file, go to File > Export > Export As and choose the file type and quality options that you want.
