How to Load Photoshop Action

To load a Photoshop action, follow these steps:

  1. Open Adobe Photoshop on your computer.
  2. Make sure you have the Photoshop action file (usually with the extension .atn) saved on your computer. If you don’t have a Photoshop action file, you can download one from various online sources or create your own.
  3. In Photoshop, go to the “Window” menu at the top and select “Actions.” This will open the Actions panel.
  4. In the Actions panel, click on the small menu icon (represented by three horizontal lines) at the top-right corner of the panel.
  5. From the drop-down menu, choose “Load Actions.” This will open a file browser window.
  6. Navigate to the location where you have saved the Photoshop action file (.atn) on your computer.
  7. Select the desired action file and click the “Load” button. The action will be loaded into the Actions panel.
  8. You should now see the loaded action listed in the Actions panel. To access the individual steps within the action, click on the triangle icon next to the action name to expand the list.
  9. To apply the loaded action to an image, open the image in Photoshop and select the desired action from the Actions panel. Then click the “Play” button (a right-facing triangle icon) at the bottom of the panel. Photoshop will automatically apply the steps of the action to the image.

That’s it! You have successfully loaded and applied a Photoshop action. You can explore different actions and experiment with them to achieve various effects and adjustments in your images.
