Instructions for
PHOTOSHOP CS and CC:
1. Start Photoshop and open the Preset Manager from the “Edit” menu.
2. Select “Styles” from the dropdown box, and click “Load”.
3. Open the effects pack you want to use (This will be a file name like “classic-wood.asl”).
4. Close the Preset Manager by clicking “Done”.
That’s it! Now that you have your styles installed, applying them is easy:
1. Select a layer from the Layers palette. (If the Layers palette is hidden, you can make it appear by selecting “Layers” from the “Window” menu.)
2. Select “Styles” from the menu on the left, and pick the style you wish to use.
3. Adjust the drop shadow, etc, if you desire, and click OK when you’re happy with the look.
That’s it, your style should now be applied to the layer.
