How to Load Photoshop Action
To load a Photoshop action, follow these steps:
- Launch Adobe Photoshop: Open the Photoshop application on your computer.
- Open the Actions Panel: Go to the “Window” menu at the top of the screen and select “Actions” to open the Actions panel. Alternatively, you can press the keyboard shortcut “Alt + F9” (Windows) or “Option + F9” (Mac) to open the panel directly.
- Load the Action: In the Actions panel, click on the small menu icon (three horizontal lines) located at the top-right corner of the panel. From the dropdown menu, select “Load Actions.”
- Locate the Action File: A file dialog box will appear. Navigate to the location where you have saved the Photoshop action file (.atn format) on your computer.
- Select the Action File: Once you have located the .atn file, select it and click the “Load” button.
- Action Appears in the Actions Panel: After loading the action, it will appear in the Actions panel as a set or folder with the name of the action. Click on the arrow beside the set/folder name to expand it and view the individual actions within.
Now, you can apply the loaded action by selecting the desired action and clicking the play button at the bottom of the Actions panel. Photoshop will automatically execute the series of steps recorded in the action, allowing you to achieve the desired effect or modification in your image.
