How to Load Photoshop Action
To load a Photoshop action, follow these steps:
- Open Adobe Photoshop on your computer.
- Make sure the Actions panel is visible. If it’s not, go to “Window” in the menu bar and select “Actions” to open it.
- In the Actions panel, click on the small menu icon in the top-right corner (represented by three horizontal lines) and select “Load Actions” from the drop-down menu.
- A file browser window will open. Locate the Photoshop action file on your computer. Actions typically have a file extension of “.atn”. Select the file and click “Load” or “Open.”
- The loaded action will appear in the Actions panel, and you can expand the action set to view individual actions within it.
- To run an action, select the desired action from the list, and click the triangular “Play” button at the bottom of the Actions panel. The action will be applied to the active document or layer according to its settings.
