How to Use Photo Overlays
- Choose the right photo overlay: There are many types of photo overlays available, including light leaks, bokeh, textures, geometric shapes, and more. Choose an overlay that complements the style and mood of your photo.
- Download and import the overlay: Once you have chosen your photo overlay, download it to your computer or device. Then, open the photo editing software of your choice, such as Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Lightroom, or any other photo editing app that supports overlays. Import the overlay into your photo editing software.
- Position the overlay: Drag and drop the overlay onto your photo in the editing software. Resize and reposition the overlay as needed to fit your photo composition. You can use the transform or resize tools in your photo editing software to adjust the size and position of the overlay.
- Adjust the opacity: Photo overlays are typically applied with a blend mode that allows you to control the opacity of the overlay. Lower the opacity of the overlay to make it more transparent and blend it seamlessly with your photo. Experiment with different opacity settings until you achieve the desired effect.
